Health & Safety Class Descriptions

Standard First Aid with CPR/AED—Adult

In addition to CPR, this course also includes training in using an automated external defibrillator (AED) on a victim of sudden cardiac arrest. Useful take-home course materials help you retain skills and serve as an excellent refresher and reference tool after training is complete. Updated with the latest science for first aid, CPR and emergency cardiovascular care. Meets OSHA First Aid Guidelines.

Length: 7 hours. Course Fee: $55.00

 

CPR/AED—Adult

This CPR course also includes training in using an AED on an adult victim of sudden cardiac arrest. Useful take-home course materials help you retain skills and serve as an excellent refresher and reference tool after training is complete. Updated with the latest science for CPR and emergency cardiovascular care.

Length: 4 hours. Course Fee: $40.00

 

Adult Infant & Child CPR w/ First Aid

In this course you will learn one person rescue skills for adults, children and infants. You will also learn how to recognize and care for victims of sudden illness and injuries.

Length:8 hours. Course Fee: $70.00

 

First Aid Basics

The course prepares students to recognize and care for victims of sudden illness and injuries such as broken bones, bleeding, burns, treatment for shock and other first aid emergencies. 

Length: 4 hours. Course Fee: $35.00

 

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer

Combines participant’s manual, lectures and video with hands-on skills training to cover the following areas—

  • Responding to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants
  • Using an AED on an adult or child victim of cardiac arrest
  • Using personal protective equipment to stop bloodborne pathogens and other diseases from spreading

Length:8 hours. Course Fee: $70.00

 

Adult, Infant & Child CPR

This course teaches participants how to recognize the systems of heart attack; what to do about them; when and how to do one person CPR on adults, children & infants.

Length: 6 hours. Course Fee: $50.00

 

CA Childcare Adult Infant & Child CPR w/ CA Childcare First Aid (Day 1) 

This course meets the California State requirement for child care providers. In this 2 day course, you will learn Adult, Infant & Child CPR and Pediatric Fist Aid. 

Length: 8 hours. Course Fee: $70.00

 

CA Childcare Health & Safety ( Day 2) 

This course meets the California State requirements for childcare provider in Health & Safety Prevention (EMSA) approved, sticker included. 

Length: 7 hours. Course Fee: $65.00
